‘Iranophobia’ latest Orwellian media bias
After news broke about the attempted airline hijacking in the Mideast Wednesday, there were only two real questions to be answered.
First, how long would regime-controlled media try to pretend they didn’t know what had really happened?
And second, how long would they pretend they didn’t know what the hijacker’s motives were?
Even after it was reported that the filthy savage was yelling, “Allahu ahkbar!” most outlets gave it a good leaving alone. Don’t want to be accused of Islamophobia, or the new word, “Iranophobia.”
The media couldn’t confirm it, they needed two sources, harrumph harrumph, and by the way, did you know that this is all Donald Trump’s doing?
"The media couldn’t confirm it, they needed two sources, harrumph harrumph, and by the way, did you know that this is all Donald Trump’s doing?."
The standard for this kind of Orwellian journalism comes from the New York Times, and they did not disappoint on the hijacking:
“Breaking news: A plane flying from Dubai to Israel was diverted after an altercation between the pilot and co-pilot, Israeli officials said.”
Altercation – George Soros couldn’t have picked a more anodyne word, and maybe he did call it in. So CNN also went with “’violent’ altercation between two pilots.”
The beyond-belief BBC dismissed the attempted hijacking as a mere “fight,” a dismissive word quickly picked up by a stealth Democrat sheet called the Wall Street Journal.
Everybody knew the truth, including the comrades typing the lies, but they can’t help themselves. No lie too big.
Think back on all the Muslim terror attacks, and all the monstrous lies the Democrats with press passes instantly start spewing about the savages.
He was a lone wolf.
He was self-radicalized.
He was home-grown.
Just more workplace violence.
We may never know his motives.
He had become increasingly religious.
He was mentally disturbed.
It was a mostly peaceful flight right up to the moment….
“Some people did something.”
Corporate media’s job used to be to cover the news. Now their job is to cover it up. It was once said that journalism was the first draft of history. Now it’s the first draft of Democrat agitprop.
One good thing about social media is that MAGA can clap right back at regime-controlled media lies in real time. The Times can’t take a joke, so after the hijacking, as everyone was laughing at their pathetic attempts to not report all the news that’s fit to print, the Times shot back.
“Our headlines and live coverage contain all the fact we’re able to confirm them.”
Wink wink nudge nudge.
“Unlike activists and partisans, we don’t publish speculation or unverified information.”
You don’t? Does this mean the Times has finally nailed down that Trump was colluding with the Russians in 2016? And that COVID absolutely came out of a wet market, and that to state the obvious that it was concocted in a Red Chinese laboratory is racist?
More recently, has the Times confirmed its hysterical accusation that the Israeli military is training dogs to rape Arabs in Gaza? And how’d that Jussie Smollett hate crime thing work out for you, New York Times?
How about the time the Times front-paged a story about the IDF bombing a hospital in Gaza and killing hundreds, only it turned out it was Muslim terrorists themselves who hit the… parking lot, not the hospital?
There is no end to Fake News.
When Biden was installed as president, the Times wrote a gushing piece saying Dementia Joe was so sharp that he was conducting “Socratic dialogues” with his younger aides in the Oval Office.
I guess that story was totally true.
The media’s attempted cover up of this week’s hijacking came apart quickly. But they tried. It was like the near assassination of Trump in Butler PA back in 2024. After he was shot in the ear and dragged bloody from the stage, on live TV, it was business as usual.
That afternoon, the phrase they all instantly settled upon wasn’t “altercation.” It was “loud noises.”
Washington Post: “Trump escorted away after loud noises.”
USA Today: “Trump removed from stage after loud noises startle crowd.”
The Times went with “pops that sounded like gunshots.”
Who are going believe, the New York Times or your lying eyes?
I know, they all used the same excuse for those preposterous headlines that they trotted out again Wednesday.
“We don’t publish speculation or unverified information.”
Not unless it benefits terrorists, or Democrats, but I repeat myself. How many times have you read that George Floyd was “murdered?” Or that five or six DC police officers were “murdered” on Jan. 6?
How many times were you told that a black woman may have been lynched in Jackson MS? Huge headlines. Then two blacks were arrested for murdering the woman and guess what the media say in unison?
Nothing to see here, folks, move along.
There’s always another hoax coming down the pike. Or at least a horrific crime that rates plenty of coverage, at least until the media find out that it was committed by a member of one of their protected classes.
You know that Nigerian illegal who’s been arrested for fatally stabbing a UMass Dartmouth football player in Providence? Unless you read this newspaper, you’d never know that the accused is an illegal alien. No one else will mention it.
An illegal alien charged with murder of an American is not a good look for Maura Healey’s reelection campaign.
They won’t tell you that the mayor and state rep from Lawrence who have been indicted on charges of stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars in welfare payments weren’t even born here. They’re from the Dominican Republic.
You remember what they said back in 2004 when 60 Minutes tried to fix the presidential election by running a completely bogus story about George W. Bush?
It took two hours to blow up Dan Rather’s hoax, but the media wouldn’t let it go. They said the 60 Minutes lies were “fake but accurate.”
All these years later, nothing has changed.
The mainstream media – fake but accurate.
