Maura Healey is your Alibi Ikette
It’s not Gov. Maura Healey’s fault!
It never is.
Maura didn’t do it. She knew nothing. If it did happen, it couldn’t have been prevented, whatever “it” is.
If all else fails, Trump did it.
You want some examples? How about suspending the state’s 24-cent-a-gallon gasoline tax?
"You want some examples? How about suspending the state’s 24-cent-a-gallon gasoline tax?."
Last February, it was a stupid idea.
But when Mike Minogue called for a gas-tax suspension, she called a press conference to demand that the Legislature approve one – wink wink nudge nudge.
Shockingly, the Legislature refused, and only 5 of the 135 Democrats in the House voted to support their governor, the leader of their party.
It was almost like it… wasn’t on the level.
How about letting 45-plus stone-cold murderers who’d gotten life sentences out of prison – some as young as 44 years old (at least if they were married to hijab-wearing crooked politicians).
Hey, letting all the killers out of prisons wasn’t her fault, Maura explained.
The Supreme Judicial Court (SJC) approved letting all those savage murderers out if they committed their crimes when they were teenagers, and then the Parole Board signed off on releasing all these killers….
But, Governor, don’t you nominate all the members of the Parole Board?
Yes, Healey says, but the Governor’s Council won’t approve my tough-on-crime nominees – wink wink nudge nudge.
So why don’t you start firing the Parole Board members for letting all these killers out?
But I would need “cause,” she says, and then there’d be a vote by the Governor’s Council, and we all know how independent they are, and cannot be bought off under any circumstances….
You ever hear of Alibi Ike? He was the fictional baseball player who always blamed everybody else for all his screw-ups. Alibi Ike.
Maura Healey is Alibi Ikette.
How about all the horrendous crimes committed by the Haitian illegal aliens that she squandered $4 billion in taxpayer funds on in her “Healey hotels?”
Hey, Maura said, I asked my staff to make sure they conducted checks on all of our wonderful new “neighbors,” but they… dropped the ball. They just ignored my orders.
Don’t you hate it when that happens? Harry S Truman had a sign on his desk in the Oval Office:
“The Buck Stops Here.”
If Maura had a sign on her desk in the Corner Office, it would say, “The Buck Doesn’t Stop Here.”
Healey was asked about one specific crime committed at her resort taxpayer-funded spa in Rockland by one of her Haitian “neighbors,” the rape of a disabled young girl:
“Sometimes things happen,” she said.
That was in 2023. Last summer, a young Irish girl was allegedly raped by a Boston thug at the State Police barracks on Martha’s Vineyard. Regime-controlled media had zero interest in this MSP scandal until this newspaper broke it.
Forced to speak out on this latest horrific crime involving the State Police of whom she is “proud,” Maura Healey said this:
“Sometimes things happen.”
Is there an echo in here?
Governor, you claim that although the federal government gives you billions of dollars, they have no right to ask you to cooperate with them in stopping welfare fraud perpetrated by illegal aliens with those public funds.
Yet, at the same time, Governor, you claim you have the right to shut off state aid to any local communities that refuse your imperious demands that they allow public, i.e., slum housing that would destabilize their towns’ schools, public safety and property values.
To which, Maura Healey shrugs and says, Rules for thee but not for me.
She gave a $115,000-a-year hack job to a career criminal named LaMar Cook, who shipped kilos of cocaine to her personal suite in Springfield, where he also allegedly stashed white-powder-encrusted drug scales.
Was there a background check, Governor? What did the background check show? Maura Healey refused to say and the State Police, of whom she is so “proud,” refused to release Cook’s background check.
How about the Plazagate scandal last year where your appointees signed off on a sweetheart deal for Democrat fat cats that would have resulted in the state getting $1 billion less from a foreign company than from one based in Massachusetts?
Maura Healey said, Plazagate was totally on the level, although I left it up to my transportation secretary, who was also totally on the level, and by the way… I just fired her.
Gov. Healey, 72% of Massachusetts voters in 2024 called for an audit of the corrupt state Legislature, and these despicable hacks refuse to allow it?
Hey, she says, don’t blame me – I voted for it. But I have no power to enforce it. I’m just the governor.
And by the way, Trump Trump Trump.
Governor, this year polls showed that 70% of the voters wanted to cut the state income tax from 5 to 4%, but the ballot question was thrown out because the wording was allegedly off.
Gov. Healey says, don’t blame me, that was done by the SJC.
You mean, the SJC to which you appointed your scorned ex-Sapphic soulmate, after the proverbial nationwide search?
To which Gov. Healey replies, I just didn’t want to deprive the state of the brilliant legal insights of my former live-in heart-throb, age 65, after I dumped her for a woman 20 years younger who used to work under me in the attorney general’s office.
Speaking of that prior job, Governor, when you were attorney general, there was a female state chemist, Sonja Farak, who had been snorting up all the drug contraband she was supposed to analyze.
And when the Farak investigation was heating up, and it looked really bad for the comrades, your office filed a motion to suppress the evidence.
Then you filed a motion to suppress the motion to suppress the evidence.
And yet you still have the audacity to say that Massachusetts government is the most transparent in the United States.
What say ye now, Governor?
Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump.
Sometimes things happen, and when they do, there’s always a handy explanation for Maura Healey.
Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump.
